Well here you have it, I am in the process of ordering my SlowBoy Racing GT35r turbokit. Keeping the stock bottom end, stock intake manifold, ad see how much it will make on the stock ECU. this is my DD so i dont think that AEM is my answer yet.

Theres alot of members making good power but no guide to do it in step so hopefully i'll provide you guys asking some questions based around this topic with some answers.

I am running a RNR 35r kit with a EvoFlash done by TTP-Engineering. Also I am running 100% Meth. You will enjoy the car. Also my car is my daily driver as well. Good luck with your set-up.

Same here.. my car is pretty highly modified for a stock ECU car... you'll love it if you can get your tune dialed in.. My car is now too quick to street tune any longer and I have to schedule some dyno time.

Dont forget that he had to "reenforce" the MAS too.. Something to keep in mind.

True I'm running an aftermarket maf.. Honestly it ultimately wasn't necessary but I definitely feel I have to headroom now to run any combo with the stock ECU..

i think its great that theres more people like me, but i wanna create a guide for others that wanna run a similar setup using the stock ECU. standalone isnt for everyone. like a tuning guide some basemaps to get people started. Mods/parts list. Cheap little fix its and tweaks. One thing i hate about this forum is that people are too quick to throw there money around and not really do the HW to get what they want. maybe i just have some of the old school dsm in me still.

I just want to thank all the folks like Malibu Jack, Ludikraut, and Alfred at Tuning Technologies for all the help they have been. We think we can get my car to run consistent 10.8s at about 130mph with no further modifications, just tuning. The following adjustments need to be made:
1. Fuel: we need to do a few logs to make sure my injectors are not completely maxed. I run AMS 880cc. We have already added a second Walbro and have upped the base idle fuel pressure from around 43 to a little over 50.
2. More boost: the 11.0 at 128 was run at 31.6psi. Obviously I have a few more pounds of boost on tap. It is just a matter of not overrunning other systems (fuel and spark)
3. Shift knock. Alfred is on top of this issue. We are getting little or no knock except at shifts, which has caused the car to momentarily sputter on my 2-3 and 3-4 shifts. We aren't even sure if this is real knock, but this killed me on my best run ever where I did a 7.1 at 99.66mph in the 1/8th only to finish with an 11.013 at 125mph. Alfred feels that there is too much ignition advance in my table at the lower load points which are active during shifts, so he is gonna adjust those fields to create less of a dramatic change during shifts.
4. When I did the 11.0s, we hadn't tinkered with rescaling the load values from 260 to 300. We just tuned with the stock values.

What do you guys think?

I just installed my AMS 35R kit today and will be contributing to this as I begin the tuning process. I installed the kit out of town in a friend's shop, so I'm using the stock injectors until I get home and can tinker. It'll be fun to have a stock injector tune anyway, so I'm going to tune them out as well.

First impession is that the car feels very different and the exhaust note doesn't sound nearly as nice as it did w/ the stocker. Spool time will decrease as I get AFRs out of the 9s/10s during spool up

Smoggy, I think you're going to have to rescale well beyond 300. I just upped my boost to a measly 22-23psi and I am now consistently hitting load values between 280 and 290. I can only imagine what your 2.3/35r combo would hit on 32psi of boost.

How does this rescale look for c16:
0 10 20 30 40 60 80 100 120 140 160 180 200 220 240 260 280 300 320

I don't want to go higher than 320 because the car actually runs really great even with the stock 260 scaling.
