You are right though.. When I applied the correct scaling to it, it seems to translate to 2609hz which is about the max a stock MAF reads correctly.. I noticed the error a few weeks back, but never made the connection about the reading..
The good news is you can alter this axis if necessary.. I definitely would like to get some confirmation on whether or not this is indeed correct, which is why I never posted much about it a few weeks ago.
