Immobilizer Question
So here is a question i need to know really bad.
I had the keys reprogrammed once.
I scanned my ECU. My Immobilizer code says 0000.
do you think this is correct? I dont want to find out the hard way.
isnt there a way to get it without reprogrammin the keys

No need to double post. We heard you the first time.
The dealers can only change the immobilizer to match the ECU's immobilizer code. You likely downloaded a ROM with the code zeroed out. Some folks do that... kinda like bluring license plates when they post pics on the internet. You should have saved a copy of your original ROM so you could retreive your code.
To be short, your new immobilizer code is "0000". Get used to it unless you want the dealer to fix it again for you. Your new code should not affect the "tune" of the ROM. That's not your issue. Your issue is that you're blindly putting some yahoo's tune in your car. Put the stock ROM back in if you don't know what your doing. Let a pro tune it for you. You can find stock ROMs on openecu.org. You probably won't have to change the immobilizer code of the ROM you download, since your code is now "0000".
