From the research i have done, tuners say to road tune in 4th gear and dyno tune in 3rd. one thing you have to consider is that a 4th gear pull will give you about 0.5 afr richer than a 3rd gear pull. i have confirmed that in a couple of cars i have tuned.
however, i tune for 11.8-12.0 afr in 3rd gear on 93 octane gas. you should tune it slightly richer than that with 91 octane. also, your timing is very conservative and is the reason why your not seeing any knock.

I think I may be able to eek a couple of degrees here and there but my previous professional dyno tune was about 5 degrees higher in the 5k and up range and knocked like crazy. This tune is about the best I can get and keep the knock counts under 5. I think it is because I am running 22psi (even though that was the boost I paid to be tuned at). From my experience there is no substitute for road tuning.

This is the timing map that I am running now. I am not using the ECU+ to modify any of the ECU inputs. I am getting 4 counts of knock (1.4-1.6V) about 5k tapering off to 1 count at 6.5k. AFR holds around 11.25 as seen in previous graphs. I really don't have much room for timing increases. I still think the fact that I am running 22 to 22.5 psi and 91 octane is killing me. I am between 220 and 240 load to about 5k and then move into the 180 to 200 range after that. Do these numbers seem to low? Thanks for the input guys

Update
I now have it about 11.5 thru 2nd and holding pretty close around 11.2 & 11.3 in 3rd and 4th.
I was trying to keep smooth transitions on my map, but to get the afrs close it looks like a lot of random values on the map

Fuel, Timing , and Boost ?
This may be considered off topic -- sorry if it is....
How do folks optimize boost, AFRs, and timing as it pertains to power? Do you first settle on boost, then AFRs, and then timing? Is there a formula used to optimize the mix?
Also, with the 9's -- I have heard that folks are running more like 25/26 psi (peak) boost on 93 octane. Are any of you running that high on straight 93? I am currently like 22/23 in 3rd and 24 in 4 - 6....

Yes its a crappy autometer.. so maybe its less. Load according to EvoScan is between 280-300 during the initial spike. Depends on what RPM I start at.

I would say that your autometer is about 1.5-2 psi off. So your 24 psi is around 22 psi.
