Load your E85 ROM in ECUFlash. Then Click ECU -> Write to ECU.

 

Oh so i dont have to read ecu first?

Not necessarily.

Reading the ECU allow your to pull the current ROM off your car and save it. If you don't have your current ROM saved somewhere, you should pull it down and save it.

Otherwise, just write the new ROM.

One more question.
How do you know in ECUFLASH Knock count wise, when CEL flashes slowly and when CEL flashes fast? Where do you look that up and adjust it.
Also can you log using EVOSCAN 2.7 with openport 2.0 cable?

 

trying to figure out how to remove my check engine light, i thought i could use ecuflash but maybe im looking in the wrong place..

 

Use EVOScan. Click the Clear DTCs button.

 

i did it and it worked after pressing it several times and after 1 hour it come again. i out read dtc but that didn`t worked. some idea??? the airbag light is on and that one doesn`t come off. i had the link between the car and the steering wheel broken and i fixed that but the light never went. help please

I have the same problem with my airbag. what it is, the wire is getting some kind of resistance due to the buttconnector or what ever method you used to fix the wire.

 

Hey guys, Im sorry if this question sounds generic but my buddy bought evoscan 2.7 and last night we loaded it all up ready to tune my 8. So after an hour of looking for the serial number for the program we got it up and running. Connection seemed easy and the logging seemed to work perfectly fine. Then when he went to the tab for ecuflash it started to go downhill fast. We were not able to pull anything up. Everytime we selected a ROM it kept saying that the USB is not connected or in use somewhere else. I do not have the program in front of me so it is hard to trouble shoot but maybe someone will know what the problem is. The only thing i thought of was that the mini usb port that goes from obd2 to the laptop. there wasnt a wire given so he used the wire from his camera. Any help will work that i can relay to him and then gonna try again on friday and see if we can get my car running well. thanks.

I am not too knowledgeable about the program. It is the tetrix 2.0 with the evoscan 2.7. The plug that goes into the obdII has a mini usb port that we assumed goes from there to the usb port in the computer so he used the wire from his camera. Im sorry if i sound stupid but i dont have anything in front of me.

 

Yeah, the 2.0 is what I mean. I assume you connected BOTH cable connections (Tactrix Openport 2.0 and the Mitsubishi Reflash Connector) to the car? Also, I know you said you clicked on ECUFlash from inside EvoScan. Do you actually have ECUFlash installed?

 

i solder it with the material that comes to solder cables. being aware that they don`t touch each other. i will try a new one to see if it goes away. also when y pres the read dtc button it says not comunicating with ecu after some info is shown but no dtc are shown. thanks
