You need to be logging 2 byte RPM to be able to view above 7968rpm...

Im at wits end with evoscan. I have taken tons of logs and all of them are missing cell information. Im currently running windows 7 on a netbook. I have over 1 Gig of ram in it so I dont think laptop speed is an issue. Can someone elaborate for me as to what Im doing wrong so I can start tuning?

^this is all I get from a 3rd gear 2500-7500 pull.... The other fields are just as empty as well.

here is the evoscan 2.8 main display:

I did some searching online but found nothing for the newest version of evoscan. Also before I forget, this is on a 2006 USDM evo.

Right click in the big gray area and click load rom and then load your current rom...and should work from there.

Ok cool so I can see more parameters right now. Does this look right to you?

Can someone PLEASE help me. Me and my tuner have gotten my car tuned ALMOST perfect, but we're having issues with it running rich above 5700rpm's no matter what. We have leaned it out, and leaned it out, but it seems as if the ecu is adding fuel on it's own?!?!? Can someone with experience with evoscan PLEASE tell me what's going on==?!!

I noticed that I'm maxing out my MAF sensor around 5000rpm's........ could this be the reason for it? As it's directly after that it starts running rich. I hold 11.7 after boost tip in, about 11.4 through 5500rpm's, then it drops to 10.4 to 10 flat by redline no matter what. My tuner usually tunes Subi's, and hasn't used evoscan very much, and said he didn't want to keep leaning out the fuel for safety reasons, especially since it's not responding to the entries in the fuel table. Any and all help appreciated, and my spark plugs will thank you.

Should we just keep pulling fuel?? Will it eventually start responding?

Brand new injectors, 15k on walbro, yes still stock scaling on maf. Injectors are scaled to 892 I believe to get ltft at -1.3...... how to change scaling on maf? Oh injectors latency from aem ems calculator.

Will get my tuner to email me a copy of the log, and as far as the ROM, I'm using a standard ecu with a standard rom I believe? I may be wrong, it was previously tuned at Road Race Engineering with the previous equipment.

I will try to get in the next hour or so, as of now, all i have is a virtual dyno sheet from our last pull in 4th.

He's done evo's , not like I'm his first, and Subi's are MUCH more complicated to tune with all those additional maps..... which he is an expert at. I used deductive reasoning I guess.... and it was free

Back to the situation at hand, any suggestions?

I'm going to Tephra's V7 tonight, I guess in hopes that the larger maps will help.

As I VERY MUCH respect your opinion MR. MELLON, any help from you would be greatly appreciated.

These are the settings for injectors we used.

Scaling: 886

Latency:
3.720
2.088
1.440
1.080
0.840
0.672
0.552

Found out the problem... nothing to do with the tune at all. Vacuum hose came off EGR. Put back on, zip tied.... all is perfect.
