i was wrong it only helped it for a little while. it still disconnects imtermittently. sometimes i get lucky and it will log for a while and sometimes it will log for 2 secs. I am also having a problem with it not logging the fuel trims st, mid or lt. st and lt stay at 0 and mid shows -12.

I also tried a different usb port. my laptop does not have shake protection. banging my head on the table with this one. i converted the car to speed density and did a buncha upgrades while in the process so i cant revert back easily. and the car is now throw a cel for too rich condition and i cant log fuel trims to tune it. ecu flash works perfect.

 

Is there a way to delete or change the background image in EvoScan?

I'm trying to get data logging working, and I've tied pin 1 to pin 4, and checked the voltage on Pin 7, with the car on, not started, the voltage is around 7-8V.

I thought this would be closer to full 12V - any one actually know what voltage should be on pin 7 so I can troubleshoot why I'm getting no response from the ECU? (I don't get the ECU light flashing).

I don't get the check engine light flashing when I connect to it either.
Pin 16 is close to battery voltage at 14.30 when running this seems fine to me.

 

Does anyone at EvoScan answer their support tickets anymore?

Worst customer service ever. Seriously.

 

Just a heads up, most of NZ closes for 2 weeks around Christmas/new years.

 

They were open on sunday when my cable was marked shipped. The tracking # says 'delivered'...but I don't have my cable (after paying for 1-3 day DHL). What good is a company that won't help me track it down?

 

It's one guy doing everything. He's probably having a short break, being Christmas/NY.

only if you buy the EvoDroid7 dashboard computer, then yes it comes with the android app, but not if you buy evoscan for windows on its own.

I've searched a lot. What does the ECU Periphery00 (F9A) Bits Do?

I've seen numerous ROMs have 1's in different areas and was curious if there is a thread or does someone know what each bit does.
