if you have the 1.3U then that means you still have pin9. you will need to have that removed. not sure if you just ordered it or bought it off someone else but if just ordered they might swap it out for you if you mail it back to them.

Trouble with Evoscan

Hello. I'm having some trouble with getting an accurate value on boost and knocksum is not logging at (as if it isn't turn on or the sensor isn't there). For boost, at idle, it reading 20 psi. During WOT, it went as high as 40ish. I do have a boost gauge and Greddy profec b spec 2. The profec is set at 19psi and the boost gauge shows same. Searching, I'm assuming my eval equation got screwed up even though I didn't touch it?? For Knocksum, it just blank..kind of like the External WB and it isn't connected. What am I doing wrong??

After researching, it seems people with a 3 bar + sensor has escrew boost readings because the formula is incorrect. Does this sound about right? I'm not sure if I have one or not (bought car used with mods)

I am having boost logging issues as well, but I think mine might be a little simpler. I downloaded the latest evoscan V2.9, and used the same formula that I used previously on V2.7 which worked perfectly, however, I have been getting this error, anyone know what I am doing wrong? I am using an OMNI sensor on stock ecu. Thx in advance.

Never mind

After hours of search and looking over my engine bay, I realized I do have a stock 05 USDM Map sensor. From what I'm reading, the stock MAP sensor doesn't read over 2 psi and evoscan have crazy readings. So, I need to get a JDM Map sensor?

I am having intermittent issues connecting my ECU to Evoscan. It works about half of the time just fine and logs completely. Other times it doesn't try to connect and when I prompt it to start datalogging, it states that I need to try connecting the 2.0 cable. I have the 1.3 and it is set to 1.3. Again, it works perfectly about half of the time. Any ideas?

I have the same problem. All I keep doing is unplug and replugging it back in, what a PIA.

Exactly! ^ I keep thinking I've figured out a temporary fix (restarting the program, rebooting the entire computer, reseating the cable etc.) but it jut comes down to sheer dumb luck and the car basically tells me when it wants to be logged lol

pic of whats happening:

AFAIK you should have a 3 bar map sensor. Try using the JDM map sensor option and check the results to see if they are what they should be and post back to let us know.

No, only from the evoscan site. Have you created an account for the evoscan site? If you still have issues then Mitsulogger might be your best option.

Hi , Does the Evo scan and mitsu logger support NGK AFX wideband and ECM AFM 1000/1500 with DIS1000 ?
