Thanks Evo Kid you read the situation perfectly..
>>the first link it just seems like he wanted some help. When it was recieved, it seems he said thanks and such.
Yep: I was getting 20emails a day wanting support for INNOVATE products, I had not worked with innovate products before, I was thankful.
>>The second thing about him saying theres no serial port, seems like a mistake.
Yep: Based off what someone else told me - sorry about that.
>>Then the statement about "analog " and you guys not being "fast", isnt that
>>true??? Doesn't you system only pick up 12 samples per second???? If that is
>>correct, then it is slow. If not, coorect me.
Yep: This was accurate based off a samples logged per second basis. Sorry if I offended anyone.
>>I also think its very hypocritical of you saying that EVO4mad is all bout money. Reguardless if he is, hes making a product, and >>trying to make money. Whats wrong with that?? Dont you guys do the same thing???
Yep: People suggested they wanted to pay, it was not my idea to begin with, money feeds my software development and Evo addiction
I have not kept any technical knowledge to myself, it has all been posted on the net.
Colby has made thousands of dollars, he deserves it.
I haven't created a license for EvoScan yet. It is a group effort by me and myself under local law.
Ecuflash = no public sourcecode
Mitsulogger = no public sourcecode
EvoScan = no public sourcecode
All in the same boat with regard to sourcecode - and a lot of individual talent.
If you dont like me jfitz and donour, I don't care.. I love you Both.
I spend 100's of hours a month programming free updates for everyone.

First, I just wanna post and personally thank you for your contributions to the Evo community.
Secondly, I hope that you don't let some people's attitudes about how you choose to develop and distribute your software discourage what you're doing.
Remember that for everyone one person on the forum that complains, there are hundreds, maybe thousands like me who are nothing but greatful for what you do.
Thanks!

I mean public, like a download sourcecode link.
Do you have a copy of Colby's GPL sourcecode? could you please PM me a copy.
If you want me to leave, let me know, I have no problem if thats how you personally feel.

Yes there is. There's a link to a snapshot of the source on openecu.org. I'm sure colby will give you a tarball if you ask him. It's not my code so I don't redistribute it.
EDIT: and yes I have a copy of the source. I even made it build on unix.
Again, it's not personal. I don't even know you. Lets stick to the technical content as much as possible.
