that one is definitely hooked up, i just not sure what else i could have not hooked up in the process, there aren't a whole lot of wires that are disconnected...

 

a friend of mine has an evo8 with a gt3076 turbo i did a log to the car and he had 36knock counts starting at 5500rpms and very low timing by redline like 7*,we checked the car for exhaust leaks and the car had a very small leak on his exhaust manifold headers which arent the OEM aftermarket ones so we welded the crack did another log and everything was fine no more 36knock counts,hope this helps

 

Ill look around, don't think there is an exhaust leak but who knows at this point...

 

this weekend im going to pull the car apart on the lift and see if i can figure out this issue...im still stumped but i will figure it out...thanks for all the help and if anyone gets anymore ideas please let me know...this weekend i am going to try a different ecu, try a different knock sensor, try a different maf sensor and just do a complete once over to make sure everything is hooked up properly...

 

Check the resistance on the coils and the wires and see if they are in specs. That will cause misfires and could cause the car to knock. It happened on a friends car.

yea no i never built the motor on that...all stock besides the cams...that may have been part of what the issue was...the motor was likely done...
