Lots of folks would be very happy with just the IX version 15 map.

I would be happy with two switchable maps.

Please make this happen soon.

Eric
Are there any threads explaining more about this? How are they switched? Car on or off? Thanks

Do you mean the valet mode because that is just changing the rev limit. Otherwise i missed something.

I mean realtime switching actual fuel/timing maps, etc. Not valet mode.

I don't think Tephra has released anything here yet,but he has had it working for quite some time now.

if this feature is much sort after I could port to USDM's with ICS (and just use clutch + TPS) for map choice...

I also had a request to include boost maps in the switching - although thats a lot more work

cheers

yup i'm getting motivated to do the whole switching thing ie injector scalings/latencies + boost maps + fuel/timing maps

mainly for the E85 guys but I suppose others will find it useful too!

Would this be possible? How long does it take to switch the maps? Can it be done on the fly?

well at the moment switching has to be done with the car off, but IGN on... this is easily changed thou - it was more for safety as I didn't want the car switching maps @ 6000RPM - just in case :P

also its a manual button press in my case, not automatic. what did you have in mind?

Would be possible to have the ZT2 or Aquamist DDS-3 trigger the car to a different map if either went into failsafe mode. Even better, if the car was using the stock BCS or GM solenoid it could lower boost pressure as well. I think that this setup would be the ultimate failsafe for meth.

It would also allow the car to be driven at a lower boost pressure with out meth. This would use the 2nd map and then when the meth is turned on, the 1st map automatically turns up the boost and loads the optimized fuel and timing tables. I think this would be an amazing setup with the stock ECU.
