I am going to triple check it this morning and install again, but since it didn't work the first time (I was very careful in making sure the maps were right the first time) I am going to guess it won't work again. Hmmm, so, Mrfred and I finally figured out what was going on with my MAP, and as it turnes out it was a slip up on my part, nothing was ever wrong with the MAPs/instructions provided by mrfred.

Thanks for all the help!

Mr. Fred, I got my sensor today, WOOT!!

It's installed and working great, direct boost control is also working, although I will have to spend a bit more time tunning to get it just where i want it.

While I was testing I accidentally spiked 28psi on pump gas, Yikes, amazingly there was no knock though. I got a clue something was wrong when the car started going sideways, hehe.

Try another saved version if you have it

The amount of boost a IX can take blows me away. What was the ignition timing at 28 psi?

Keep an eye on the direct boost control thread. I'm in the process of writing up detailed instructions on how to effectively tune the boost control.

So just put mine in , looking at my boost gauge and zt-2 map gauge, they show -15 at idle. JDM map says -7..... How come? Am i doing something wrong here? I triple checked the formula...

I see about -8 to -9 psi with an 850-900 rpm idle. What's your elevation?

850, why do you think there would be such a difference between Zeitronix map and JDM map? Location?
always thought regular vacuum was almost -20 , less wth cams , i got hks 272....i thought -14 was about rght....

Maximum possible (gauge) vacuum is -14.7 psi at sealevel. At your elevation, the maximum possible vacuum is -14.3 psi. During idle, there's no way to get that much vacuum. Even if you let off on the throttle at 7000 rpm, the vacuum won't get lower than -12 psi.
