I will test their system and see for myself.
Hmm... I forgot that I changed my boost offset value. A load of 220 on an mostly stock car corresponds to ~1.4 bar ~20.3psi. So if they prett much max out the BDEL at 159.9 with the 60 offset = 220 and ask for that until ~6k. Drop down to 210 by 7k. That should hold ~20psi constant after they tweak the WGDCs to correspond. Or rather, tweak the WGDCs to get 20psi across the board and input the BDELs to correspond. I still don't like how big the correction factors are in the stock table. It's caused my boost to jump up and down while it tries to hit the BDEL.

This PM, I removed my Xede and installed my stock pill on the Solenoid side and the Works smaller orificed pill on the turbo side. I kept the boost tables stock. I want to log the car with this set-up first and check the boost curve.

What do you guys predict as far as boost taper? Would there be more taper from stock with the Works pill or less taper from stock from the Works pill?

Maybe a little less taper.
Curious about the results.

Using a 3 port boost solenoid, like this one..

With this you just run regular lines, with no pills. Also, this solenoid doesnt need resistors or anything. This is the best way to control boost using the ECU.

also WORKS way off controlling boost is

Go to NorCalEvo.net and look around at what razor lab has been doing using the 3-port. there is also a good thread about controlling boost with the 3 port.

I know the WRX boys like to use the GM boost solenoid. I think it's only $30....

I'm content with the adjustments I've made to the stock system for my car (which is completely stock).
