Evo Scan and Windows Vista....
Whats going on guys, need some input if you guys have any knowledge on evo scan working on windows vista. I installed 1.1 .Net Framework, and installed the program. So far it has been working perfectly.
I am able to do logs, and the everything with evo scan 0.97 and 0.99.
I installed my Innovate Wideband, LC-1 and xd-16. Everything is working perfectly with the gauge and everything.
The problem i am dealing with is when i plug in the serial to usb cable to my laptop it will connect to com port 3 and seem like it is working fine but will not read my wideband a/f. It will just say x at funtion and stay blank at reading.
I installed the drive onto my computer and everything. the ONLY problem i am having is getting the reading off of the wideband.
Is it because it is windows vista? This is the 3rd cable, so it is not the cable. Or the driver. is there a setting i have to change on evoscan?
Any input would really help. Thank you

Let me ask you are you using a usb to serial converter for the LC1? If so that may be your issues. Some work differently from others. I use a usb to serial converter and I tested 3, 1 did not work. 2 did. Keyspan sells one that works fine, Iogear sells one that works fine, the one I bought at Fry's did not work, forgot the name.
