I wired my lm1 up hardwired into the car. I have the source under the steering column to a blue/white wire. The ground is to the frame portion under the steering wheel that holds the plastic pieces on. So far it works fine and reads the same as it did when connected directly to the battery.

I grounded my LC-1 to a bracket behind the glove box that I'd used to ground my Revlight. I did my first log today and it looks like it's working perfectly.
I grounded the free air calibration switch under the center console near the emergency brake if that matters ...

An open element filter usually leans out the mix. The numbers seem really close to what I'd expect with your mods. I would think that if your numbers are smooth and consistent from run to run, your ground is fine. I would expect to see spikes and inconsistencies with a bad ground.
As noted in many other posts, I'm a noob at tuning and am basing this comment on a general knowledge of electrical systems.
EDIT: Here is a link to my stock dyno for an AFR reference if it helps. This was recorded with a tailpipe sniffer.

As a side note, on a 4th gear run I was at about 10.4:1 - 10.6:1 in the upper RPM range.
