I didnt realise until after I had my moment of realisation but Gunzo had posted his up. Scaling at 913 and latency at .960 at 14v for his brand of 1000's.

BINGO! is right

they tell you all this bs just to sell you a $2000 AEM Unit... Notice how all the sudden there are so many high hp cars on stock ECU...

Sure u can always make a little more hp with AEM but last i recalled you lose a little bit of drivability... definetly not the way to go for a DD....

There are quiet a few parts the some vendors on here say you MUST HAVE or ARE HORRIBLE just to better business. Then so many just believe it because they dont know any better. I'm not going to lie when i first got my car i was one of those that ate the bs because i was worried about my brand new 30k car...

TEST TEST TEST! Then post the results!

So what I am curious is how long have people known about this and kept it out of the loop? I mean I can see some practical benefits to being quiet about it as far as ease of tuning. However, the first time someone looks at their map after it was tuned they are gonna see its a value thats above stock capability and it wont alter anymore all of the sudden. Then again maybe most people wouldnt look or notice it.

I just did a base gas tune on RC1000 in a EVO today and thay ran and idle way better than I thoght. I am now tuned on E85 which was the reason for the 1000's. I know I would have no problem tuning RC1000 on gas with a stock ECU in the future.

Totally in agreement.
Most EVO drivers on this forum don't know anything...they regurgitate stuff they've read from others.

Your setup on paper looks good.
Watch out for the potholes around here.
