Question Tune necessary for Buscher Air Filter Kit?

I just posted this over in the Engine Turbo/Drivetrain forum but didn't really get a good answer. I was just wondering if I would need a re-tune if I added the Buscher Air Filter Kit to my IX. My guess is yes since it seems like any kind of modification short of a drop in requires a change in the MAF settings. I currently have a Jestr M1 e-flash for TBE/FP/drop in.

My vote is yes. Deviating from the stock air box even with a drop in will change the calibration of the maf sensor. The end result is a change in AFR and or fuel trims.

I cant speak for jestr but he is very cool person. Send him an email saying you just got an open air intake and see if will give you a discount on a retune. Its such an easy mod to tweak your map he might do it for free. Again I can not speak for him though
