Idle speed adjustment not working ...
#92
Actually target idle does not change but actual idle drops this might be due to load caused by more alternator drag?
My car did not get done so I have not had a chance to check out maps and I need to pull plugs as I'm experiencing higher boost "blowout" I hope or cutout
I will grab updates gotta get all this worked before Red arrives
Thanks

SI would like to think that the blower motor doesn't pull so much starting current so that the alternator wants to slow down so much to actually slow the motor down. I think i'd prefer the belt to slip through the transient. I know my rpm seem to drop a little bit when my radiator fan kicks on.

On a hunch, i decided to use the SAS Actuator and check the BISS idle. It was really low (~400-500), so i adjusted it up to 800rpm, and the transition for the heater and AC is now flawless.
Gonna test some more today, but last night seemed great.
Now just need to see if i can get the warmup idle a little lower.

just added that to my xml, ill give it a shot tonight.
after testing the AC and heater today while driving, the initial activation of both the heater or the ac, the idle will apparently drop down to whatever my BISS is set to. Since adjusting it yesterday, the heater and AC will drop to 800rpms for the first 5-10 seconds, then resume normal idle (1000rpms).
Gonna test out the target minimum in a bit and ill post my results tomorrow.

Unfortunately adjusting the Target Minimum Idles table didnt have any affect. When I started the car, it jumps to 2.5k, then tapers to 2k after a few seconds, and then slowly tapers back down to 1k for a couple minutes till them temp reaches ~180F.
Ill see how it is when I head to work in the morning.

Any updates on the correct Desired ISCV table addresses?
Edit - nevermind. I found mrfred's extensive ISCV thread.
