i have all the ones selected that always show plus knock sum(now after the fact that i didnt notice it wasnt checked.hah)

I have a pretty fast laptop and I log quite a bit of data. I guess it depends on what your looking for. If I'm doing general logging I normally log the following but if I needed to work on setting up injectors or an intake then I would log fuel trims too.
.
Here's what I normally log.

TPS
Engine RPM
Timing Advance
Speed
Air Temp
Injector Pulse Width
Battery Level
AFR Map
Load Calculated
Wideband - If you dont have this then log the narrowband o2 readings above
Knock Sum
Load (2byte) - If your setup to log this
Octane
EGR Temp
WGDC - If your setup to log this

do you need to setup the 2byte with the new evoscan? or do i just check the box and go on my marry way?

IPW= Injector pulse width, and IDC= injector duty cycle
I added IDC to my evoscan. Its basically (IPW x RPM)\1200 =IDC

I dont know about the latest evoscan that's in beta or wherever it is. But you have to set it up for version .99. You need to edit the .xml file in ECU Flash. Here's a link to the instructions

The reason that you would log Injector Duty Cycle is to know if you you need to upgrade your fuel system (fuel pump, injectors, etc.) You can setup EvoScan to log Injector Duty cycle using the formula provided above. Handy. Especially when you've got a IX and people are saying you need a walbro and you dont.

I've heard this mentioned elsewhere. What EvoScan value gives you AFR from the narrowband sensor? I've logged O2 sensor 1, O2 sensor 2, and AFR MAP and compared to my WBO2 data and none seem to be comparable. Am I just interpreting the data incorrectly?

for the OP ...

TPS
RPM
Timing advance
Boost (JDM MAP)
WGDC
2-Byte Load
2-Byte Airflow
Speed
WBO2
Knock
IPW and IDC%
Octane
Air Temp

I believe thats all for my normal logs. If I'm tuning the MAF scalings, I log all 4 fuel trim values as well as a calculated value that I added for the combined correction % of the low, mid and high trims.

Log your trims every once in a while because if they stack up it'll mess with your tuned AFRs.

I have a good machine so this is what I log:

TPS, RPM, Timing Advance (good to validate where you are in the tables), Speed, Air Temp (meddling with temp compensation tables), IPW, Batt Voltage, LoadCalc and 2 byte load (like to compare them), WBO2, knocksum, WGDC and IDC.

Probably, I dont tune with the narrow band o2's either but your supposed to be able to tell from the voltage outputs what "ballpark" your in.
