Not sure, because the sensor I have is not good.

Yes, I was trying to scale the injectors with the UTEC on map 0, which to my understanding, bypasses it and runs the stock ECU.

I ran a 35r with comp cam 280s and AMS 1000cc injectors and i had ZERO problems with drivability. Stock ECU is way underrated.

I say just Get it tuned by a rebupable shop Go to Turbo Trix in ny and have them Tune that car. Mark helped me out with mine and i got nothing but great reviews from him.

And take that UTEC out use it as a door stop. Cause its not worth much.

pm me if you need some help.

X2

I have been running 1000cc injectors with the stock ECU & MAF on a 35r and on the stock turbo with zero drivability issues. I even have the screen pulled out of my MAF and the car runs like a top.

MalibuJack gave me some starting points with latency and scaling that really helped, the rest you will have to tweak for your own setup to get it just right. I've had the 1000cc injectors in my setup for over a year now and haven't had to even touch the tune. It can be done as myself and other said but it takes a little time to get it right.

I was having issues getting my setup to idle properly using the AEM latency settings. I ended up trying MalibuJack's settings from the injector scaling and latency thread and they were a much better starting point. I did find that with his scaling I was way too rich, and adjusted it to around 800. Just keep working with it, you'll get there.

Update: I am actually at college right now. I will be home in two weeks to get the car tuned and I'll post back the results.

KevinD - When the UTEC is out I'll PM you.

Who do you think should I go to for tuning? Sean Ivey, AL (DynoFlash), or TurboTrix they are all local.

Had the car tuned the other day by Sean Ivey. On 22 lbs it made 390whp on a 3rd gear pull. After that I had it inspected and it passed a NYS inspection. I thought that was pretty cool. Then I drove it 200 miles to school and used only a half tank which equates to about 26-28mpg. I'm really happy with the results.

I need to check the BOV because I think it might be leaking under boost. On the highway coming up to school I was in 5th gear and went WOT. When the car came into boost, the boost gauge started pulsing up and down at 22psi. It sounded like the BOV kept sealing then opening over and over. Any suggestions?

What the best way to get around it? Should I not boost it at a low RPM, high load? It is pretty bad for it isn't it? Sorry for the questions.

You got it... it's basically the turbo producing more air than the motor can handle (quite often at low rpm high loads) so things get backed up in the intake tract and start reverting.

Basically don't load the engine at low speed in 4th, or 5th gear. 3rd doesn't do it to me and 4th does it slightly but I do notice it. It eventually powers through it and then the engine is hungry for all that air.
