Awesome thanks. I agree, now that i am looking at again.

Does anyone know for sure whether or not this patch works with ROM 94170015? This is the last rom for 03/04 VIII models in the 9417XXXX family.

I upgraded to 94170015 to minimize the p0300 error that I get from time to time.

Well i did get this setup and all i have to say is WOW. This is incredibly easy to tune and works PERFECT. Mrfred, thank you.

I would like to make one request. I am not sure of how difficult this would be so i dont mean to if what i ask is some incredibly large request.

Would it be possible to make the desired boost a 3D table where we could factor in TPS so that full boost doesnt come on part throttle? We should only need 4 columns for TPS settings and let the computer interpolate. My roommate, the one helping me learn how to tune my car, has this for his suby and it seems to make DD a lot more friendly.

tephra and I have been talking about writing a full PID controller to replace the stock boost control setup. We did touch on the part throttle boost control issue. If he hasn't already seen your post, I'll mention it to him as he's doing the coding because I haven't been able to find the time for something like this.

Mrfred, that sounds great! Your system works very well and I have no problems using it as it. I guess it is more of a second revision request if a second revision ever comes out.

Tephra, does that mean you have it done? If so do you have a 3D table for Target Boost and BWGDC?

Just out of curiosity, if you have WGDC at 100% and you are lower than target boost, will the computer add correction since it is maxed out?

Yes, but you won't get any more boost after 100%

Yeah I know I am just wondering if it will even try to add if the cell is already maxed out.

No. There is code that clips all requests for more than 100% WGDC.

Mrfred, is there some sort of TPS threshold that is accounted for before the correction tries to take over? For instance, if i have 2% at -3.1 boost correction if i am not getting on the car it will not try to correct. Is there something built in that will stop the correction until a certain load or tps value?

There is a "Max WGDC Correction vs TPS" table.
