lol I think the "stationary rev limit" equipped from the factory works great..One way to make it better though would to possibly have more "resolution" for lack of a better word so it does not cut and rev so slow..But really anything that would build more boost is a plus (timing retard/cut with extra fuel) Dare I say "antilag" lol

The 2-step setup is perfect for our cars, now if you can design a mechanical foot that will execute perfect launches everytime that would be something haha jk.

I think Petey summed it up well. If we could somehow speed it up so that there is less chance of hitting it on "off" stroke, it would be more consistent. I have tried retarding timing via the timing maps in the load cells that it hits at, but it doesn't seem to be consistent, not too mention it gets somewhat close to the area your car may run in under normal driving. If we could install a blanket retard and richen the mixture some whenever the two step is engaged off the clutch switch it could help.

Well, we can currently control timing and fuel for the stationary limiter in the stock tables. This method doesn't generally get in the way of normal tuning, but there is the chance that you could hit those cells during normal driving. Having separate timing and fuel values for launch control would be ideal.

I think the main goal of launch control would be to build more boost at a lower RPM than the stock system.
With lower RPM there is less that your clutch has to do.
Personally I like what Bez has done, with the ability to give up to -35 timing he said he can get 2bar at only 3500 RPM.
This seems a bit extreme but maybe with -15 retard timing we could build 1 bar or so.

I can build one bar at 5500 and still be in timing advance. I'm not sure why you would want to launch at such a low RPM. Is there something I'm missing?
I understand the clutch part, but launching under boost is going to burn the clutch if you slip it, no matter the RPM. It's been my experience that the tires spin more than my clutch slips when I launch well.

Torque is the main thing that toasts clutches. You're launching with loads of torque either way and each will damage the clutch is slipped too much.
I could follow you if your thought was to get more from 1st gear with this method. The clutch is going to work about the same in either instance.
