888400016 quickly testet.

Forgot to test the Valet mode.

CEL flash was there during spoolup.
But a strange thing happened, I swear the light also came on just for a little while (maybe just 0,2s - but I sett it to 1100ms).

Quit funny to shift qiuck as hell without lifting the gas. But I'm not shure how much faster this is than "manual" lift off.

Will check fault codes and valet mode later..

I didn't see any maps provided.

All I see is a xml file that has some code you take out of it and put into the xml files in the rommetadata folder by editing what I assume is your rom ID code. In my case my stock one is 96940011 the one TTP sent me .hex (tune) is also 96940011.

I edited the 96940011.xml in the rommetadata folder, loaded my TTP flash that I tweaked with my wideband, edited the new feilds and flashed it.

Dunno what else I am missing. None of the new abilities worked though.

This is all listed on the first page, and pretty much could be considered ROM Patching 101.

The .bin file in there will be your new ECU image. You need to modify all of the tables in ECUFlash to match your current tune. As well as make appropriate changes in the xml files. Set your user type to "Developer" in ECUFlash, and there should be new tables.

I copied the XML files to my 88-15 series rom in the rommedata folder in ecuflash, then opened the .bin file like you open one of your maps in your map folder, whatever you use, you can rename it and save it as whatever, then copy all your data by going piece by piece from your old map, i used select all, copy, paste where I could, make sure your init code and immobilizer are copied as well. Thats it. If you use Vista you may have to copy your rom to the desktop than copy and paste it back into ecuflash, or it may ask for permissions, etc.

Well if you can link me to that post that I still don't see that would be great. I'm kinda new to this, but want to learn as much as I can.

The mods must have cleaned up a bunch of useless posts which messed up the POST #'s.

To whomever was having a problem with the 65535's coming up in the MOD OPTIONS, its propbably because you opened up your current ROM file first instead of the .BIN file. When you first open ECUFlash, go to FILE at the top and then OPEN ROM...
Then search for the .BIN file Tephra had in his zip file (which you extrated the files from). This .BIN file is your fresh starting point. You should see that the MOD OPTIONS are all normal now. You now can open your current ROM file and just go back and forth copying and pasting your tables into the .BIN file that Tephra gave you. Save it to whatever name you'd like afterwards.

What Xml editor are you guys using? I have 3 on my computer and none of them will open the file.

Someone should do a set by step for the guy (like me) that are just learning ecuflash.
