I installed the patch, and everything is showing on the ECUflash.

At the beginning of the MODS section, there's the three mods' that tephra has provided. It shows the three mods, and then the value 65232 or so, in MS..

What is this for? TIA
Anyone got any tips?

Just to follow up on this, after re-flashing the car, I'm unable to reproduce the problem, so this had to be a local issue.

And, a 500 RPM drop worked great at the track day I just finished.

It was my first time out with the Evo, and I was fighting with a few fairly obvious problems (all-season tires, terrible pads, loose nut behind the wheel), so I only managed a 1:54 lap (Autobahn Country Club, standing start/"high speed autocross" format), and that was fairly disappointing given the 1:4x times I saw in the early results for similarly-classed cars. Proper tires and some new pads are now on the shopping list, and I need more seat time.

But, NLTS worked great on the straights. It was a bit of a distraction at first, until I got a little more comfortable with it; I'm used to using NLTS on other cars for drag racing, where WOT is the rule, not the exception.

IPW will also go to 0 when you shift, so that's an easy indicator of shift point

lol, thanks genius... i was doing that, just took a little getting use to at first.... and judging the 1st thru 2nd part is hard because of the 2 step and then they are so quick. 4th looked good, i pushed it to 25 degrees timing up top... still not knocking. I just picked up some knock during 3rd.

and good call with the IPW, that helped a lot

um there is another thread which has the memory addresses for the clutch switch so you can re-MUT them (like 2byte load) and then log when you shift... I think its the thread about No lift to shift - at the very end
