from what youve said it seems like 014 doesnt work on xp or vista and 015 works on which one xp or vista or both?
seeing as 014 doesnt work on vista or xp it seems like there is something wrong with that ROM and doesnt relate to your operating system unless 015 works on XP and not on Vista then it gets a bit strange.

What version of ECUFlash are you using? and what is your actual ECU 014 or 015?

 

015 works on vista until i try flashing it over my 14 rom or my friends 15 rom then it wont start on either... both having immobilizers changed & showing correctly, so it is my guess its a vista problem.

14 seems like a rom problem. BTW Im using ecuflash 1.30

 

let me just say using my own 014 rom I can see the tephra mod options in ecuflash, I know I cant use them with out the new rom. So im guessing Im editing the XML correctly.

 

maye try using the latest ECUFlash and try download the existing ROM on your ECU and then write the same ROM back without changing anything to see if it works. I'm pretty sure ECUFlash works fine with Vista but maybe you need the latest ver.

Edit: if u can see the mod but the numbers are skewed with your ROM its most likely that you have done the editing correctly, Tephra can confirm this

 

I have thought of that.. however going threw and changing the endian="little" needing to change to endian="big" confuses me... any faster way?

 

i just did a find and replace in notepad or you can look for a newer xml definition for your file

do a replace for endian="little" to endian="change2big"
then
do a replace for endian="big" to endian="little"
then
do a replace for endian="change2big" to endian="big"

otherwise your going to have to manually go thru and do em.

Ive tried to use this patch a few times... but it never seems to work out for me in the end. I dont understand why though.

The last time I tried to use it, The NLTS wouldn't work in first gear... I left all the setting the same as when I input it. And I revved first gear all the way to red line... I'd mash the clutch....and its bounce of my 7800 rev limiter anyway.... Can someone help me out with this? Track days tomarrow and I'm hoping to have this on and working by then.

 

NTLS has a speed threshold which by default is set to 30km/hr which means you need to be above that speed to trigger it.

have a read of the first post it has a method / settings to test it.

 

I still need help setting some settings. if someone could help me out. Thanks. I have the patch to work, just need settings for a 6 Speed.

 

Also if one does NOT want to flash NLTS but like Valet and CEL Knock, how do we remove the others if not all while flashing?

 

You can't choose to not flash NLTS. You can however disable it under the Tephra Mod Options and setting the Enable NLTS to 0 which disables it.

 

OK so under all three of those mods, if I set them all to 0, none will work?

Also what do I set the Knock count too? I just need help with the settings.
