Evoscan 4th gear pull from last night... thoughts?

I'm still getting new to EvoScan (and I'm kind of mad at myself for not logging Octane Flag) but I'll attach my 4th gear pull from last night. I'm also not running the 2byte load or whatever, so I don't know how accurate the loadcalc is.

Also - It looks like my timing got pulled a tad up top and I didnt have enough room to get quite up to 7k rpm so I still need to log that area. It could also be the gas thats been in my tank for the last 3 months hehe. I also have another log going up a hill, and the knock is 2 counts in some areas, but timing never gets pulled it appears. This is 94 octane btw. If the rain ever stops I'll go get some new gas and log some more!

*edit* I guess this could have went in the general tuning forum, my bad.

**updated to include mod list for peeps**

-- 2.75" Downpipe
-- 3" Test Pipe
-- 3" CB exhaust
-- 94 Octane Cenex Gas
-- 3 Powerflex motor/tranny mounts
-- stock bcs line modified
-- EVERYTHING else is stock

^^ Mods and boost level would be helpful to know. Well, you obviously aren't getting any knock but it looks like you are jumping between cells in a few spots and your timing jumps around between those cells, especially at 5500 and 6375rpm. It could just be the terrain you were driving on which didn't give a consistent load. I think a bad tank of gas would make a few occurences of knock happen at least.

Mods are Catless TBE and thats it. Still using factory ebc. Boost should be roughly 22-23 psi, at least it was last time I was tuned on the dyno. I see it spike 1.5 on the factory guage but we all know its useless. I may do the JDM MAP sensor one of these years so I actually know what my boost is.

Oh, EvoScan 1.0 Alpha so I don't know how buggy/accurate it is. I heard it gets more timeouts than .99 or whatever.

22-23psi and peaking at a 325load??!! Jesus, I hit 250-260 tops at 22.5psi with the mods listed in my sig. You also should do a pull from 2500-3000rpm to get the broadest evaluation you can.

I hear ya. I have to go out to farmland to do another pull or two That's all I'm intending to do, get an evaluation of my tune with EvoScan. I need to do down low, up to 7500 or so.

Even a solid 3rd gear pull on a completely flat surface will get you about 90% as accurate as the long 4th gear pull would. I know the 4th gear pulls add more load for longer durations but hitting 120mph is not my idea of smart logging. I usually go from roughly 35-85mph on a 3rd gear pull and it doesn't take too long of a strip of highway to get a good log.

Your load tells me your running 25+psi. Your factory boost gauge isnt totally worthless. Is your map scaled above load 300? I'm at sea level (65ft) and when my 2byte load is 273 Load Calc 267 that equals 23.6psi on JDM map and AEM map. You must have some good fuel!

Honestly I figured you were running meth too and had just forgot to tell us. Turn down the boost for safety although you are knock free????

Yeah, that puzzled me too. Maybe he has the "golden" longblock with complete knock resistance! lol

Its spiking to 1.5 on the stock guage maybe a little higher. I took some more logs this morning, attached is the best run I had. On the street, I'll get 2 or 3 counts of knock here and there is that normal? I notice the smoother the pavement the lower knock count I'll get usually. The knock still isnt around my high load marks so I should be ok right? I'm just checking my tuners tune is all.

Here is a 3rd and 4th gear pull on a little bumpier surface than the log posted above. 4th gear looks knock free but 3rd had some.. I dunno if its phantom knock/road knock or actual knock. Just having more fun with Evoscan!

Well its load calc not 2 byte load so I am kind of thinking that is some of the operational error. I think that the rest is probably an intake pipe setup that is less than accurate. I would guess maybe a Fujita or Injen based on the load error. Boosted since I know some of the background, I am really curious if you can post a COMPLETE mod list including boost gauge and all other mods that might affect what we see.
