92 other than Cenex was selling E20 enhanced "94 octane" for awhile. The only reason I know it was that much was any car that ran it instantly went 0.5 AFR leaner. The Shell 92 here is most likely the same thing as 93 though judging from what I have done on pumpgas with it.

If it doesnt have high levels of ethanol in it, I would only richen it a tad because of the altitude...or wait...no? Less oxygen means less fuel so I would leave it where it is. Do you happen to have a WB? I am not sure of the correct answer to that question since I have lived my whole life at or near sea level.

Many OEM cars have ran lean burn with cats. Honda started lean burning with the civic CVCC but the first one with a cat I can think of is the VX model in 92. Later in the 90's they had the HX model. Now cars like the insight are lean burn as well with cats.
What does clog cats is running overly rich (boosting a lot on the stock fuel maps), leaded fuels, sulphur in fuel, etc.....
