Hi Guys,

I am still new to this. Can you take a look at these pics and tell me if that AFR looks okay? I think I am still a little rich. Should I try and make that line smoother? Thanks for looking!

Jason

Aim for about 12.5:1 from 120 - 180.

Other than that you look pretty good. You could go a little leaner in the full boost areas ... 11.5 is the common AFR on 93. Taper down to 11.0:1.

No noticible drop in power until richer than 11.8 or so. Leaner, like 12.5, will have a smaller margin of safety but sounds so much better

He's in florida and tuning so rich?...definitely lean out the spool up as tourningbubble said.

What boost levels is the OP running. Obviously tune for 0 knock...the occasional 1-2 counts is nothing to lose sleep over.

Personally I tune my car when I'm off the meth at 11.9/11.8 @ 22psi ...feels great

12.0 aggressive(lot less room for error, not as much advanced timing will be allowed, however some tune for a/f, some tune with advanced timing
11.8/.7 semi aggressive
11.5 semi-conservative
11.3-11.0 conservative (run alot more timing with this setup, however, you're just wasting fuel. These are the numbers you use if you are not trying to break records and have a huge margin of safety.)

Yeah depends on car as well though, I know my car starts getting shady at 11.8....it will yank timing etc. But I know some people can take it out to 12.0, if you're on meth ive heard two versions, either run it out to 12.0 or run it rich....but I honestly just set it to around 11.3 on meth, I was scared =p

I tune to about 11.5 on pump gas at 25psi, 8 degrees of timing rising to 14 at redline.

True. It definitely depends on the car and how much timing advance you have.

On meth there are different determing factors. How much meth you're running, nozzle location, boost, plugs, supporting mods...etc
