Thank you! I didn't capture it but I bumped it from 7 @ 500 to 10, then up to 16, then 22, up to 27 still at 2000 RPM. Trying to make it as gradual as I can. It's that way just from 10 to 40 load cells.

Once I got the hang of what you meant, it wasn't hard to rework the map. Makes a lot more sense to read and adjustments are much easier too which is nice. For instance, I didn't incorporate Ratsbud's suggestion until I reworked the whole map, but after it's in the right "format" if you will, those changes were simple and just needed to be smoothed in. I can deal with that

In case you don't already know, the 3d graph helps a lot with smoothing out your map. Go to view -> view graph in the table you're editing to enable it.

I will check that out. I drove the car to work today - all knock is gone from part throttle/part boost, the lope at idle is much less noticable and overall the car drives so much better it's a wonder I didn't post this up before for advice. The car does not feel like it has bigger cams in it now down low, but you can definitely tell once you give it a little pedal. Thanks again!

It is a 03 EVO with the stock 9.8 turbo.
Boosting to about 21 tapering to about 19.
AFR 13 ish during spool to 11.5 peak down to about 10.5-11
I'm in AZ with our horrible 91 oct.
Still tweaking a few spots here and there for some smoothness and I did rescale.
Let me know.
Anyone have an opinion on mine?
Here's my virtual dyno attached.
Am I probably a little lean for 91 in AZ?
Thanks.

Timing seems low up top, what's your load curve like?

Peak load is about 265 in my latest logs.
And around 230 @ 7K.
I'm starting to see knock a little in my logs again, I'm not sure if slightly cooler weather is making my boost a little higher so greater load and new cells that I haven't been in before.
I attached a recent WOT 3rd log. Just remove .txt
Let me know what you guys see.
Too much boost, little lean?
I think that is what I need to work on.
Thanks.

AFR is richer than you need up top, no need to go below 11.0. You should also be able to add a few degrees up top.

Do you think my boost level is ok for the 9.8 turbo and 91 oct?
I have a set of step colder iridiums to install to see if it helps with my slight knock.
Thanks.

Thanks for the input.
My wife is driving the car this week so I will do some tweaks when I have the car again.
Does anybody know of a specific parameter that would affect knock @ right around 5500 rpm?
I sometimes get knock counts up to about 8 out of nowhere @ 5500 rpm.
No afr spike or timing jump. Not sure what else to consider.
That is one reason my higher rpm timing is a little lower and why I'm going to try cooler spark plugs.
Thanks again.

Maybe? This was a tune that I paid for at Tobz performance in denver Colorado. He refused to do anything about it also. When I brought up the timing he said it was fine. Long story short I just had another tuner fix it. Car runs awesome now.

Whoa!!! That sucks! I've heard mostly good things about Tobz. Sorry to see this.
