That's fine very good job.
Btw i think that on 91 octane we can run with stock ignition sistem about 10/11/12 degree up top.
On 93 i'm looking for a solid 14* . Hoping is possible.
My timing map which i'm working on, is about the same , minor differences but that's all.
Mods are nearly identical.
I wanna try to peak @25psi and tape to 20/21psi, spoolin up with target of 12.5 afr and then tape to 11.5 to 6500 and 11.3 to 7500.
Afr tune is 99% done. Timing needs a lot more skills

I tried some combinations up top but this is the most agressive that the car would take without starting to have some random knock.

It seems to me that you are running a little bit too much boost. Thats why you are knocking and cant run higher timing. 25psi tapering to 21 should be enough to get the same or a bit higher dyno numbers, on higher timing without knock. BBK-Full can manage some solid boost numbers, which are useless on 93 octane. Pushing the limits of the turbo is good on meth or E85.
I have posted my map for BBK-full https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/10...-post1975.html
I have pushed that turbo up to 390whp with some 50\50meth on mustang dyno.

Although the turbo has proven to make 400 on a mustang dyno on 93 but the setup/mods are a big part of that!

well i've been self tuning my car for a while and this is the map i have now. its still a work in progress, i was actually working on a smoother transition for the lower load cells which i havent tried yet due to a short notice deployment. but i should be returning soon and i can continue to log and tune.
i also attached a log file from this rom. my car has always been knock prone but it has become a lot better.
i'm thinking timing is low but i can be wrong i always wonder when i see guys with higher timing in the higher rpm ranges.
i am adding some saikou-michi can catchs with the bigger 5/8" vent hole on the valve cover once i return so hopefully that will help some how.
from 5000 rpm and up is when i was seeing some knock recently so i plan on attacking this and the mivec map.
let me know what you guys think. Boost is 27peak tapering to 23. 93oct

With a better flowing turbo like the BBK full and cams, you should be able to run 28 psi with no knock. Your timing is really low, you may be knocking from too little timing

On my recent dyno trip I had lower lower timing to where it is now past 5k rpm and it picked up power but it still knocked. That day the car wasn't it's normal self and I think it had to do with the dyno being in the corner of the shop so it didn't really have air flow.

Quick example (https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...no-here-2.html):
S1 stock turbo

Nice promotion of cams) Stock cams capable of the same power on top. I can say even more after 6/5k even cosi m2 gives the same power on stock turbo and 98RON.
Hot side of stock 9 turbo is bottle neck here, not cams, at least on 98 RON.

3800 to 6500 - yes there is a gain. Over 6500 - and especially over 7k -no gains.
Check it out - figures are BHP on Dynodynamics, which reads at least 20hp lower than mustang dyno
1.3 bar 98 Ron 373bhp/470tq
1.7 bar 98 Ron 380bhp/550+ TQ
Even on these graphs clearly seen that stock turbo already on MAX after 6.5k
Btw this car had THE SAME power on cosi M2 cams after 6.5k.
I do not think S1 is more aggressive than M2.

If you want to see gains over 6.5k to see difference in cams you should install smth bigger than stock turbo). Or go with meth or with race gas or with e85. On normal gasoline (91-93 i.e. 95-98RON) there is no sence to install cams on stock 9 turbo. However if you do the same on stock cams you will also have noticeable gains in power.
