That is not so bad then, if it's on stock turbo... Of course there is too much advance at peak boost range (probably over MBT), but going to the redline timing looks alright for me.

did you log the car, did it knock? or any other problems? Did you check if it was advanced past MBT? How did you check that it is too much timing?

Yeah I had about 2 counts of knock at peak then 1 all the way to redline. The tuner has no clue how to tune. He keeps tuning for knock.

Too bad his bottom end won't be smooth and well constructed if he keeps running it.

OK, what's wrong in that map in your opinion?

The whole map is bad dude. Too much timing at spool up, too much timing at redline. It knocks on e85 and isn't smooth. Its a crap map. BTW this WAS tuned on a dyno.

ive been working to establish trends in a clear manor . More experimenting. I'm pretty sure my spool timing is lacking a few degrees

s2 cams
skunk2 ported intake manifold
stock exhaust manifold
HTA 71 with 84 cover and intake tube
type s bov
jmfab intercooler

Im gonna work on getting the spool timing back in, rough 2-4 degrees

I thought I had more timing in there at peak load but im gonna work on that ramp! peak load at 3750 - 340 ish

7500 - 270ish

Looks good 211ratsbud. To me your spool area from 100 to 160 low RPM doesn't lack timing. You could try more, but what I can say is that my VIII starts to knock at even lower timing / 13-12.5-12.0 AFR.
