Here is mine, its an 03 with stock motor, delta 272 regrind cams, stock 9 turbo, stock intercooler, turbo-back exhaust, no balance shafts, and e85:

It's not perfect but drives very well a bit sharp for off throttle/transitional response, could use some low end reduction. Comments welcome.

Map looks OK but I'd be careful with those boost spikes on a stock motor... that's how I blew mine. Also, I think an upgraded intercooler would help a lot, especially with that much boost.

Going to be doing an intercooler soon. I was thinking about taking off the 9 turbo in favor of an hx35 or kinugawa 25g but didn't realize it was making as much power as virtual dyno plotted...bit concerned about the rods at this point will likely turn it down until summer when I can get some drop ins put in.

Is anything wrong?

This is from my Evo IX (JDM) stock engine and turbo. I get some knock (low knock-cel flashing slowly) at about 4500-5500 rpm pretty much all the time. The boost is 1.4bar overboost at 1.8bar. Can anyone tell me what to check in order to eliminate the knock? Are those timings too aggressive? What else could be wrong to trigger the knock?
I can't check the AFR

Never used VD before, are VD figures equivalent to WHP?

Start by pulling 1 degree at a time in the areas that have knock.

Emmm...stupid question but how do I know the "load"? I know the range of the rpm were I have knock...but how do you know the load?

ok I know that's somewhere between 180-220 load...is there anything that shows in which load I am the time that knocks?

You need to setup your MUT table in your rom to log 2-byte load. That with logging rpm and knock will show you where adjustments need to be made.

This isn't "fully tuned", but just looking for some feedback on a new basemap.

VIII w/ stock motor, stock cams, walbro, injectors, ets piping, SD, hta 71, 3" tbe, ex mani, planning for 23-24psi w/ a 3 port, 91 oct.

Im considering scaling it back up to at least 320

Here is an example from my Time Trials car.

Mods: Perrin filter w/ maf adapter, TBE, LICP, Evo IX Turbo w/ 9.8 hotside, GSC S2's w/ springs and retainers, Aeromotive Stealth Pump, FIC 950's

11.9 AFR @ peak boost, tapering quickly to 11.1 by 5k and 10.9 by 6k. Made 334whp @ 6200 and 320wtq @ 3250, 4th gear pull. 93 octane.

Interesting set up! You switched the 10.5 hotside to a 9.8. Obviously you got more low end tq.

I'm tuning a WRC car with a turbo restrictor and TQ comes on very quick But top end is sacrificed. Your top end looks decent. That's DJ numbers right and how much boost? Can you add a dyno chart?

Rally cars are nuts with the amount of torque they deliver and how much the restrictors kill em up top.

I switched to the 9.8 hot side for two reasons: 1, to keep lag as low as possible with the cams; 2, the guy I bought the turbo from broke a stud and bolt on the hot side and I didn't have the time to monkey with it. It definitely gets into boost faster coming out of corners than some IX's I have driven.

Numbers are DJ and SAE corrected. Boost spike of 24.5 to 25psi @ 3250.

Dyno graph attached. (Sorry for the angle apparently it decided to flip itself on the upload)

Been shadowing the ECUFlash forum for awhile learning as much as I can and trying different techniques, but this will be the first time I've asked for productive criticism so I appreciate any advice.

Evo 8
28psi on 62mm turbo
E85
Peak TQ/Load/PSI = ~5200 / 2* @ 290 load
290load tapering down to about 280 at 8k rpms.

EGR disabled

Thanks for any advice! Car seems to run great however I believe I'm quite choked up on these HKS 264 cams that came in the car.
