Map is worse than even the old map. The old map does have too much timing but at least its smooth. Your map has too many timing jumps. My suggestion would be starting with an oem timing map or paying someone that knows what they are doing. Even with helping you out im not sure your automotive knowledge would be enough.

Here's my 2g timing map its a 4g64 with 272s on a evo3 16g turbo. It runs pretty damn good now.

anyone running 300 load on a 2ltr on 98 ron , think that's the same as 93 in the US, I'm getting some knock up 6250-7000 but don't know if I'm using too little timing or too much. cheers!

Sure, plenty people here are. Kinda hard to answer your question without seeing any numbers, though?

Define some knock (how many counts)? What is your target air fuel ratio for that rpm and load? What psi were you hitting during the knock episode? Getting enough fuel? What is your duty cycle?

Looks smooth and pretty conservative good job , Ide almost recommend some guys taking Qs from your map and using this as a sorta baseline for bolt on evo 8's.

This looks close to my map. it could be a bit conservative... but not by much. your boost is very low though. U can run 25psi easy on 98oct. even 30psi.

It has been a bit since I changed my setup for this past race season. I only had a chance to run this map at 1 event. It is an all out map for Global Time Attack events. It only sees 1 to 3 hotlaps in a 20 minute track session.

Mods:
GSC S2's w/ 5041 springs and Ti retainers
FP 71hta w/ stock wastegate actuator preloaded to the max
FP 84mm FAP Cover w/ FP Intake
FP Race Manifold
APS Twin Vent BOV
FIC 950's
Aeromotive 320lph pump
VRSF 3.5" IC
ETS LICP
Muse UICP
Map o2
Invidia DP
3" Straight Pipe Exhaust

Logged 26.6psi peak, 25psi by 7k and 24psi to 8k. 93octane. 396/355 to the wheels on a Mustang Dyno

My timing is similar to yours with gsc s1 cams. I really like your setup. i bet it's a blast at the track.

It hit very hard and quick. Didn't have the type of top end I need for GTA. Actually just sold the 71hta and switching to a FP Black for this coming season.

Very curious of your experience with the fp black. On paper it would seem laggy but the blacks I've seen on the street spool plenty quick and talk about top end monster.

I will let you know. On paper it does look laggy, but when looking at my track data I spend most of the time above 4.5k rpm which is where the turbo shines. The event I competed in last year I was needing to use a lot more rpm than I am used to, to be able to run the times that I did. Since I have the valve train for higher rpm I might as well have a turbo more suited to the range I use on track. Plus, I am going to go with a 2.1L LR for next season which will help spool a tad.
