Lean spool richens the mix like that. Completely disable lean spool for a closer match to 3rd in all gears.

how to do it??? we set it to begin and end at 2000 rpm for example???

There is a lean spool thread to answer all those questions.

Personally I like lean spool and have no problem with it.

Factory is to begin at 2500 and end at 7,000 rpm.

You can set the end to 2500 and it basically turns it off. Or you can set both to 2000 or whatever.

Turning it off will keep the AFR more consistant in the gears. You won't see the richness problem in higher gears.

If you do a single log of say, 4th gear, from 2500 to 7500. The AFR will be pretty much how you set it in the maps. But if you do a drag style row through the gears, say, starting in 3rd, then 4th will be much richer, and 5th, etc

I've seen 4th gear be set at 11.2 with a normal pull and 10.4 in 4th when rowing through the gears with lean spool on.

this one is for a 03 evo 8 with exhaust, air filter, ams licp, walbro fuel pump
and ebc 25 psi on 93 octane

I feel if we are going to compare Ignition tables more accurately we need:
Turbo Size
Short Mod list (exh, cams, IC)
Boost
Fuel type
Trace of Load cells for a given gear.
A/f couldn't hurt either.

agree, otherwise its like comparing figs to sundried raisons or apples and oranges. or like whos line is it anyways where the POINTS JUST DONT MATTER

this is a noob question but why do you guys pull so much timing at low RPMs?

The way how I was thinking about it was you would pull more timing out when the boost kicks in at high load and at higher RPMs.

How much boost can you be making at below 2000 rpms?

the lower numbers that low are for idle mainly. If you set the #'s too high, you misfire
