Thanks for the advice, Im going to keep in touch with evo8426, I have already started to lean the low boost back down a little bit, mid 12's at 5ish. And reverted to an old timing map. Im gonna do what I can with this input

I may lower the entire boost portion of each map a degree or two and see what happens. I'm really curious to see how the newly smoothed maps will affect low and mid range power as well as spool-up since those are the areas I made the most changes to.

Fresh from some road surveying, I have gained, rather, carried peak torque many times greater than before. leaned her out some. IDk, im sure there is more peak torque available earlier around 4k though.(I hope)

My road-race map was conservative at 22psi, 4* peak torque ramping up to 16* by 7k still holding 22psi.... never had an issue.

as a newby in this subject, need advices from more experienced people than me, at what spots and how to smooth this map. car is evo3, 1.1 bar, hitting ~230-240 load cells. can post logs if needed

So I would make the load go to 310, and the make every other column go up by 10. Is it okay if I lose the 20 column. So it just from 10-30. All those values are the same anyway

skipping 20 load and going from 10 to 30 is perfectly fine. As you said, the values are all the same anyways and the car rarely goes below 30 load except when you're coasting in gear.

Cool man thanks. One more question...do I need to do the same with my fuel map? Or can I just leave it alone? It would probably be easier when making timing/fueling changes if they were the same? I just answered my own question didn't I. Lol. Thanks

Timing and fuel maps use the same scale, so when you change the scaling of the timing map, it will also change in the fuel map. Keep that in mind as you'll need to adjust the fuel map accordingly.

If you're on TephraMod, timing and fuel use their own scaling since they now have bigmaps. If you're not on TephraMod, there may be other tables to check to make sure their scaling hasn't changed.

Uh oh...I just changed the columns manually on my timing map. That's not the right way to do it I assume? I did check the fuel map after i changed it and it was unchanged. I have to make the change with the edit map definition in ecuflash?
