yes

and also, if you are running a smaller MAF than a regular Evo, but your running an Evo size intake tube, your MAF has to be scaled for that tube in order for it to read the incoming air correctly.

For lean spool disable, change ECU periphery FBA bit. 1 to "0". Its enabled stock.

O2 is sitting right in front of where the Cat would normally be.

I swapped back to the Evo MAF last night, thinking a clean would sort it out, but it didn't, so will go back to the smaller MAF. Yea, running an Evo intake tube, I did some reading last night on rescaling, but hadn't worked out actually how to do it properly. I'll spend some time over the next few days reading up on it.

Not apparently for my rom. MrFred found the disable EGR bit for my rom, so I changed the periphery to turn off the tests, but still got the CEL and same error. MrFred is looking into how to turn off the tests, so sounds like these don't work for my rom.

if you really want to rescale your MAF, i would pick the larger MAF, and i can send you a spreadsheet that will help you out tremendously

Then set the lean spool start and stop both to 1500RPMS. Just make sure before changing the values, that default for start is "2500" and that stop is "7000".

I'm at work, so can't check, but from memory I'm pretty sure those are the values for them.

What MAF are you running? If its the stock MAF with stock intake tube like you said a couple pages back, then you dont have to scale the MAF at all.

The Airtrek MAF size is 303, Evo 357? something like that anyway. I currently have the Evo MAF and intake pipe on, car runs crap cold even with the Evo MAF settings. Runs ok warm thou. Airtrek MAF is better when running cold. Injector scaling changes between the MAF's as well, 975 with Evo, 860 with the Airtrek. There is something else involved for the need to change the injector scaling. Evos's roms seem to have different MAF smoothing, even thou the MAF I would assume is identical. I would have expected all cars running that MAF would have the same settings, but they don't, so I may actually need to scale the MAF. I can't remember what rom I copied the MAF settings from, may have been a US 8, where the MAF I think is off a JDM 7.
