has anyone used the Perrin alky kit before? does it have good failsafes??? I have one but am deciding to sell it because I decided not to do meth injection...It has a flow sensor and is a progressive pump.

Well, I will be ordering the EVO IX pins on Monday morning people. Everyone should thank laramie_05MR for making a very generous donation to the cause so all EVO IX owners will be able to benefit from this new patch! It was a very generous gesture to support our community! They say it will take 12 weeks to ship so if any EVO IX owners want a pre-made harness from me, they can use the EVO VIII harness now and simply zip tie the EVO VIII pin in place and I can send you the EVO IX pin in the mail when they arrive (or send the harness back and I'll install the new pin for you if you don't feel capable). My tutorial will be updated tomorrow with a link to order a harness and a full DIY section for those who wish to make their own.

Once I receive the pins, if you need some for your own harness I can sell them for $0.25 each.

quick question can you use AltMap v4.2 for the ADC input or do you have to wait till the new patch comes out.

You can't use version 4.2 yet, I used that link as a sample last night, forgot to remove the active link. I gotta see if Tephra can make a new thread for the newest version so I can create the link, even if the patch isn't fully ready just yet.

yeah I will make a new thread for v4.7. I was kinda waiting for the 88590015 guys to say they were happy with the ADC switching, and then I would start doing other ROMID's.

Jamie if you are 100% happy with v4.7, ie you can see any improvments then I will make a new thread and post up some of the ROMID's this week..

actually come to think of it - it will be v4.8 which includes MrFred's rearo2 simulator...

Sweet deal, my only suggestion is to change the default ADC switching point to 127 to ensure that maps will switch under any voltage fluctuations with the ALT MAP Harness. I believe the worst condition voltage would be around 3.9V if the alternator failed on the car and the battery voltage dropped to 11.5 volts. Also, incase someone has a HUGE stereo and the voltage dips verrry low, it wont flip flop from map-to-map. Other than that..I love it. Email me just before you post the new thread so I can try to score the first post for future updates

ALSO, anything you or anyone else can see wrong or missing with the tutorial??? I am just waiting for confirmation on the +12V ignition pin on the ECU harness before I post up the diagram for the EVO IX's. Hopefully I can have some updated diagrams tonight and video's or at least the pics that MrFred posted for the time being.

I just updated the EVO IX ECU pinout diagram and also updated the harness pic to explain what each of the 3 wires should be connected to.

awesome stuff Jamie, those vids are pretty good

anyways i'm just testing v4.8 at the moment, I suspect it will be the final before I start work on v5 (boost switching, I ordered a MAP+3port BCS yesterday)

So this week sometime I'll create the new thread and start doing ROMID's

Thanks, they were a pain to make lol. Can't wait til this new version is loaded with all of its goodies.

I forgot to ask if you could create a timed parameter so once it switches maps, it wont switch back until after a a set duration time? That way if something is on the fritz it can't flip back and forth between maps every few milliseconds. Possible? Just want to think of all situations.

tephra, are you planning on putting injector scaling maps in your next revision that switches boost? This would help provide at least an alternate map for e85 prior to the whole implementation of interpolation.
