evoscan incorrect dtc list air intake, engine coollant, presure sensor, knock sensor

hi people im new to this kind of fault diognosis but i find it hard to belive that i have the following errors on my car as they come and go each time i look at the dtc list

air intake
engine coolant
vehicle speed sensor

fuel pump relay

but if i interrogate the sensors they look to be displaying the correct values as best as i can make out any way for example the engine coolant starts low and as the car heats up rises steadly

aktivematrix.com download scantech and run it

its a generic code puller. one of the others will help you choose the connection settings

mark - I used to have the same when I tried the check fault codes in Evoscan when the engine was running. Switch the engine off but let the ignition on - see what comes then.

No fault codes have been shown on scantech - so I assumed it is just going crazy when you run check faults when engine is running.

i have tried this function a million times with the car running and it always returns some crazy faults.... i have yet to try it with the car off but the key in the on position. I just chalk it up to a function that doesnt work and i use my scan tool
