Say theoretically I wanted like 550-600 whp on just 93 with no meth. Would 1000cc injectors flow enough for that?

880's are really the most you'll ever need on stock ecu with meth.....

Cheers!

What if I had a funnel with a super ultra mega ginormous mouth and a narrow tube? I can fill the glass without spilling no matter how hard and fast the water was flowing out the hose. Hah. I win.

I am running 950 with no problem with basic bolt ons. If you are not going to run E85 you really don't need higher.

I have 850's with no problems.

If you have a MUST for big injectors get the new FIC 1050 or 1150's. The spray pattern makes idle and stuff more manageable due to better atomization. The old 950's shoot like a super soaker.

Kinda hard to do 1-2% IDC at: Fire hose on. Fire hose off.
And make things run like they did without super soaker 9000's in there.

If you are going to be stuck shooting a puddle of fuel each time the injector opens... You want this;

Yup. I was thinking of getting either the FIC 1050's or 1150's before I started this thread. Just didn't know which one.

Thats a very high goal for 93 oct.... Thats not going to happen on stock ecu without meth...

If that was possible.... 1000s will be the way to go...

The 1050's flow an ACTUAL 1060-1080cc's too in matched sets. Same with the 1150's. (1160-1180) So no more buying inj that don't actually flow what they are sold as either.

And as I mentioned earlier, people are having an easier time with them as well.

Are the FIC injectors plug and play or do I need some injector clips?

The power (over 500whp on pump) goal isn't unreasonable with the right combination of parts, but 1200's will be difficult to get to idle properly, but it can be done.

Be honest with yourself and try to be realistic, 1000cc injectors would probably be the largest I'd attempt on a stock ECU anyway. I think 1200's would be overkill for the time being.

I got my FIC 1000's to up and run in 5 mins on my DSM. I haven't touched the injector values in over a year actually since installing them. They idle as good as the stock 450's that car had.

When I do an injector upgrade in the evo I'll be running at least 1000's. You can get the FIC's to idle just as well as the stockers no problem. Actually cams which people throw in without a thought these days affect idle much more than jumping to 1000's would.

Just add some latency time, scale the global, and watch the trims for a few days and make small adjustments if needed.
