Maximum load value on stock ECU?

Well I am running into an issue with my stock ECU and I am not sure if it is related to this or not but was wondering if anyone knows this...

What is the highest load value anyone has run on the stock ECU?

What is happening to me, which I am not sure if its this or not, but I figured I would post it up too see.

I am hitting 340 load max then dropping to 320 by redline. My car seems like it hits boost cut (which is set to 319 the highest value it can be) I was thinking of changing the load offset value to a higher value but was unsure of what it actually does. Anyone have any good ideas?

what is your boost cut delay? Maybe you can push that out a bit and see if it delays it a bit, might help you figure out if that is the real issue.

Good idea, its 1000 ms, so I will try and change it to like 2000 ms and then 500 ms and see what happens...what would happen if you put that to 0ms??

Thanks for the advice

Anyone hit higher than 340 load?

well, 1000 ms is 1 second. so when it reaches the threshold for 1 sec....you hit boost cut. I wouldn't make it shorter but if you get the cut at a pretty constant spot, move it out to like 5000 or 6000ms, so 5 or 6 seconds, see if it takes that much longer for it to cut. then you know that is the threshhold you are hitting. be sure you motor can handle it. I would hate for an Evo motor to pop.

She can handle it.....its a 2.3 built stroker motor, I am only running 24lbs of boost hitting 340 load, me likey

I understand now, I was talking with Chad from CBRD and he told me the same thing, I was thinking it was the opposite, but understand exactly how it works now.

Thanks

I have hit 345 on a Green with the WG line pulled and about 32-33psi on C16. I will look for the log, its hiding somewhere in my lappy. I have the timer set to infinity and beyond.

The highest you can set the boost cut delay to is 1638375ms. To read that in the editing window, you need to go to EDIT and then 'Edit Map Definition' and change the Format to "%7.0f". Save and close your ROM and reopen it. Now you can visibly see out to the maximum decimal place. Its a good feature to have but if we can't increase the load limit from 319%, you might as well bypass it.

Why did you have to pull the line on the WG? I was able to successfully control my boost with the Profec-B Spec-II...

MBC was not working at the track, I couldnt get more than 22-23psi out of it drag race spec. Since cars load up so different when drag racing it just wasnt playing ball. The easiest thing to do at that point was just pull the WG line since I knew I had the fuel for it.
