1150cc's Work great on stock ecu W/e85

Thanks to Tobz we got FIC's 1150s to run like stock on my ride!! My IDC's with my 880's hit 120%, now i'm at 56-60% IDC all on E85.. These injectors rock and Tobz is da man for scaling and tuning them!! Thanks again Tobz for coming all the way down from Your neck of the woods!!

E85 is nice isn't it... What are your injectors scaled at? I have a set of precision 1200cc injectors that I am running w/ the stock turbo/ecu. Everything is working fine. They are scaled at 731 I believe.

I plan to do E85 on FP Green as well. The consensus is that we should definitely future-proof ourselves by getting injectors over 1000c I presume? Somewhere in the 1200cc ball park range? That or stick with 1000c and run a dual walbro. Take your pick .

Forgive my ignorance, but if you were at 120% on 880, shouldn't you be at about 92% on 1150's?

You guys must be back from work by now and thus must have an answer to my question above Hope the top two posters return as I'm deciding between which of these injectors to buy to tune for E85!

Go with the 1150's. You'll be right on the edge with the 880's. I know most E85 tuners prefer to run 1000's or higher. Remember, E85 requires ~30% more fuel than gasoline to run the same...

Cheers-
E

I was trying to choose between PTE/RC 1200cc or FIC 1150cc. Never mentioned 880cc. The reason I bring this up is I will be running E85 and gas prolly 50/50 of the time. This means I need a large injector that can be scaled by the stock ECU, but also ones that will not have idle problems when running gas. Both seem to work at least with E85 according to the OP and first reply. I would like to request if SuPeRNeT and Gsxtremedsm could both comment on their setups and how they are used as well as post their scaling and latency settings for their respective injectors. It would help the community immensely!

Well the injestor rock and put out more then the advertized 1150cc, I think it's more like 1200 cc. They start up cold on the first try, but have to stab the gas once when it's warm. These are custom injector and the spray pattern is alot wider compared to the rest so it atomizes much better (especialy for E85! ). As for scalings I'm not at liberty to discus, my tuner is still working on them and I will let him chime in when he feels he is ready. Sorry bout that but start with the fic 950's scaling and work your way up..

Here's the 950 aka 1000's

And here's the 1150's spray. As you can see much better atomization!

I will be running an FP Green. Right now I'm just on the stock IX turbo. SuPeRNeT, where can we get the settings for the FIC 950's?

The aem injector latency master it's in one of the injector scaling threads on the ecuflash portion..

Here it is Ivan's post https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...=207924&page=4
