I thought i remembered you posting this. This is exactly what i was thinking. I assumed from talking to some subaru tuners that the ecu just doesnt pull timing in such low load.

that is what I did also, i didn't delete nothing, i just copied all maps the same.
I didn't want a situation where the ECU wanted to look at a map block and have nothing there going in infinite loops or whaterver, LOL

As far as I know, those maps don't point to anything anymore so it shouldn't matter what values you put in them.

Good point! Make sure if you had lean spool off before, it's off again when you move to the V5 rom.

I had a customer last week move to a V5 rom by himself, he forgot to turn lean spool off, like it was with my tune.

I put it on the dyno this week and it was 12.1 AFR, 1 full point leaner than what I had tuned him to with lean spool off.

of course my question to him was "How long have you been driving it like this?"

did some more testing on 88590015 today.

did a hard run real fast. quick nlts from 2 to 3 and let off after that because i had come to a red light. light turns green put it back into gear and gave it some gas......bogged from 1200 rpm to 1500 like it was hitting a rev limit at 1500 rpm. turned off car, turned it back on -- same thing. reflashed the rom and was fine again.

Hi ,

We have problem on evo VIII , EUDM , with 96530006 .

One friend have tested the tephra pack V5.1 , for the moment it's ok .
A second friend have an evo VIII EUDM two , and there's problem...

The Evo start , 1 or 2 seconds , on idle , and cut . Even with all tephra mod options check on " disable " .

Any idéa ?

Edit :

The map is based on FQ300.
When it flashed with the stock 96530006 rom , it's ok , the car start , drive , etc.

Now , with the tephra V5.1 pack , the car start , and stop.

In this configuration , it's impossible that is it a NLTS , valet , etc tune problem , isn't it ?

So , in fact , it must be the same map as the stock rom , but with just one boost desired engine load , and one duty table...

The IMMO code is ok !

Edit ² :

Agron25 evo's who have NLTS use an AVCR.
My friend use stock boost gestion.

So , we delete boost table 2 , 3 and 4 , and duty table 2, 3 and 4 . It's not a reason to don't start , but , think you that it's related ?

Check that the immobilizer code is entered correctly.

Dave,

Can you put the V5 for rom 88570008 please?

I hear it is ready now but boost control has not been tested, so I might as well make sure it is all 100%!

Cheers!

Regards
Sohail.
