FYI, for anyone trying to track what is going on with this low load knock, there was a theory posted in this thread:
https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=341527

I'm pretty fine with believing that the car has always been doing it, you just didn't notice it before ... but update us with any new information if that theory changes

I hear it is ready now but boost control has not been tested, so I might as well make sure it is all 100%!

Cheers!

Sohail.

Tephra,

I've moved some of the local circuit track guys over to the Alt map stuff since they use 91 oct for daily and 100 at the track. So far they have all been 03-04's and I have used the 94170014 - V5.1 roms.

All using ECU-boost. Works like a charm. Makes me wish the 05+ still had the ISC button as it just works so awesome and so OEM like.

The guys are super happy about it!

Just sent you another nice donation

btw, I have fallen out of the loop a little bit about V5 for the USDM 05 evos. Is the only solution still to turn-off the immobilizer?

96940011....my rom falls into that catagory of not being able to have any room right?
if there is a patch out it would be amazing

another idea i had(im sure this may have already been thought of) has anyone ever thought of removing all the anitlag tables and corresponding data? i dont see them serving any purpose being there on pretty much any USDM evo

Chabada - See this post on the 9653006 Rom. We can use that as a replacement for 96940011

Also for 96530006. As far as I know, those two had errors in the boost control parameters in v5.0 and he corrected them rather immediately after the launch.

88570008 users:

I have just emailed what I hope is the final V5 ROM to John.

Once he gives the thumbs up I will post it here.

Just a general FYI, 88570008 V5 contains a few changes over other V5's that allow John to do his Live tuning stuff. I will probably call it V5.5, when I get around to it I will do the same changes to other V5 ROMID's.
