I also tested the 17 as an update of the 13.

It works. The idling is even more stable than before.

I tested everything but the alternate maps. But today I got the cable from Jack
As soon as I have some minutes to install the cable I'll try.

Definitely we don't have ICS.

Do you think is possible in your next release to use the A/C button to switch maps instead of the ICS for the cars that does not have it?
It would more more OEM

Donation is on the way

Thanks

I have BIG issues with modified 88840017: there is something screwed in injector management... over 6000 rpm InjPulseWidth drops below 10 ms and AFR goes up to 18

Luck, luck, luck is: no knock and safe engine.

Tried to go back with map versions and the problem is with V5, I don't know why.
AFRMAP is costant and follow AFR map, but InjPulseWidth goes mad.
Note: Lean spool is off.

Tephra, MP your email address, I will attach a couple of logs and maps, if needed.

Tuned a Evo 9 today with the 88590015 v5 and psi-target boost with JDM map sensor and GM 3 port.

Alt maps work perfectly. PSI-target boost works perfect with alt maps.

Awesome stuff!

I installed one for him.

One thing I did notice that was odd is that if I flashed the car, with the alt map switch on, and didn't cycle the ignition the car would default to normal map even with the alt map LED on. I would have to cycle the switch if I did not cycle the ignition.

so if you had the altmap switch ON and flashed the car, it wouldn't go into altmap until u flipped it off then on?

This is how it was:

I would do a pull on the dyno with the AltMap switch ON (red light on)

I would then make my changes and flash the map (I keep the car running and just let ecuflash turn off the car when I flash)

So the IGN key is still in the ON position.

The flash would finish and I would start the car from the IGN key being in the ON position.

The altmap switch would still be to altmap and the LED would still be on.

I would then do a pull but then it would run the normal map.

If I cycled the altmap switch to OFF, then ON again after flashing the car and turning the car on it would switch to the alt map, if I DID NOT cycle the switch it would default to the normal map after flashing.

If I cycled the IGN key to OFF, then ON after flashing and kept the alt map switch ON it would stay on the altmap.

Does this make sense?

I got this hooked up finally with my fuel composition sensor controlling the alt map, worked great. Ran the alt map with E85 in the tank, and then filled with pump gas and it ran the base maps just like it should. I love it

One thing I noticed though, I have valet mode and auto-valet set to 0 in the rom, but valet still gets activated every time I start the car (I think thats what the CEL flashing rapidly on startup means?). It through me off at first since the rev limit was set to 112 and the car wouldn't start. I just set the valet rev limit to my normal rev limit so it doesn't really matter, just not sure why it's doing that. This is on 88590015

Thanks for this! I'll send you a good donation when I get paid

For the fast flashing on start-up, make sure your auto-start valet mode is set to 0 as well...

Cheers-
E

P.S. I may be off on the wording for that valet mode but I left my flashing computer at work.

Ok question. After reading a lot i saw that 94170008 is the same as 94170014 right ? Anyway so after copying and pasting I opened up ecu flash fine. Except that i am supposed to copy and paste my lo and hi ign maps and oct over to the one that i downloaded ? The reason i ask is because i have v5 showing up in my old maps as well as all my lean spool disable but not in the 94170014 rom that is downloaded

Because you need to edit the 94170014 XML with the patch as well, just like you had to do for the 94170008 XML file. And yes you'll need to copy and paste every single table from your current ROM into the 94170014 ROM.

Totally fine, also can use the 94170015 ROM as well. These are reflashed by the Mitsu dealers to fix P0300 codes usually. I have reflashed quite a few 0008 roms with the 0014 patches with great results.
