Did you get the drivers for the cable installed?

I don't know much about this subject, but I know had some trouble getting the right drivers for the cable installed on my PC.

You do. From my understanding macs need one set of drivers for flashing and another set for data logging.

Which did you already install? You might want to try collection all your software, uninstalling anything already installed and trying again.

I had driver issues with my PC when I first installed everything and uninstalling and starting with a clean sheet did the trick.

Good luck

From my experience, the cable didn't work on OS X.

IF you have an Intel-based Mac, go with Boot Camp and boot up natively to XP. Works great for me.
