Good luck to you hope you nail down that AFR problem too, a boost leak test actually is what found my leaky MAF pipe :P

This was gonna be my question. Think of all the places these gases can be in the engine compartment. They are in the crankcase, under the valve cover, going back into the intake pipe (unless your catch can vents to the atmosphere...then thats obviously you're likely source), and then through each component of the exhaust system (manifold,turbo,O2 Housing and downpipe. Also, look completely under the cabin and trunk to be sure the rubber "flood drain grommets" aren't missing. Even if you have a hole in the floor in the rear, it can easily travel up to the front of the cabin. Especially when you go from high G's to reversed G's during a hard stop I'd imagine.

I dont think its between TP and DP. I bet its on his DP, where you connect dp with O2, IF everything was fine and afterinstalling DP he gets a bad gas smell thats the only spot i can think of. No its not fuel, it is exhaust fumes.
another place would be exhaust manifold.

ok just a quick update - after running super rich and boosting everywhere I opened the bonnet to find the front of the valve cover covered in soot!
so its definatley the o2housing -> downpipe ie that big ring donut!
anyways I redid it again, this time using a jack to lift up the downpipe but i think its still there
anyways I raced today so ill look tommorow
