The WG spring mod does seem like another way to get more boost out there.

only about .3 to .5 psi if you don't adjust the actuator arm. I decided to leave the arm at the stock adjustment since I didn't want to potentially limit WG travel.

I really don't think turning your stock turbo into a flame thrower will make any more power up top. The difference in airlfow between 20psi and 22psi @7k is next to nothing. You are better off running 20psi and tossing in a little more timing.

Instead of watchign boost you should be monitoring airflow.
