The chart is an on-road estimate dyno, not a real dyno.

I'm going back to the same Mustang I was at last week to have a good apples to apples comparison of Stock vs. Green.

For reference, I made 322whp on the Stock (340whp on this on-road dyno). A rough estimate for what I'll make now is 370whp on the actual Mustang. Not bad for pump gas and stock cams, I'd say... but we'll see.

So you also changed all these besides the green?
344whp 388whp
Stock Turbo >>> FP Evo Green Turbo
Stock Manifold >>> Ported/Coated Stock Manifold
Stock Hotside >>> Ported/Coated 10.5 Green Hotside
Stock O2 Housing >>> Ported/Coated eBay O2 Housing
Stock WGA >>> Forge 20psi Actuator
#60 Boost Pill >>> #65 Boost Pill

Were both runs with the same boost?

Both runs are targeting 25psi, although the stock turbo runs out of breath and tapers to 20psi.

And yes, all that other stuff was changed.

It could be both.

I have seen such boost curve with the Ebay/Megan O2 and the FP actuator. The latter is on an Evo 8 with an FP green that I gave a mini-tune to. After he adjusted the actuator, the curve became better.

I guess we will not know until SC finishes his tune.

SC,

Did you adjust your FP wastegate to have maximum boost earlier in the rpm range rather than in the mid range?

It's not the FP WGA, it's a Forge WGA... but I haven't had a chance to work on the tune. I'll have a little bit of time tomorrow night and I should be able to post my results.

Good results, but it would be nice to see the curves that the stock IX turbo would have put down with the addition of all the other mods. Regardless, curve looks great.

Nice results, but a few probably ignorant questions:

No cams?

Curiosity, why are you targeting 25psi? On my ported IX turbo, I found it likes to sit right around 28psi/28.5psi, where I get the most HP w/ good timing numbers. I found running the IX to low 30psi's with mediocre timing numbers didn't really do enought to justify it.

Seems as though since the green is a more efficient turbo, you could target more like 28/29psi and give the car more power, and most likley not have to drop the timing numbers very much at all.

FWIW, I am hitting 325's with my current tune, running around 5* peak torque, spiking 28-28.5psi and holding 24.5psi to redline, with 17* up top.

lol, everyone rattles me about the cams... I'm seeing what I can do on stockers for now.

Are you running 28psi on straight pump gas? I will definitely experiment with running more boost. I would imagine with that much boost & timing, you have meth or 100+ octane... I'm on straight 93 for now, and my timing map is definitely maxed out... I can't run more than 6 at peak torque and 12 at redline with a flat 25psi boost profile.

haha, you sure your knock sensor still works?

Given I am on 91, but I can only run about 2* at peak boost (27psi), and about 11* up top (23.5psi)

Here's the WGDC I ended up with on the #65 pill and Forge WGA for 25psi target

I only did 3rd gear pulls for this, and the chart below is with no error correction.
