i have the aem uego + aem oil + aem boost. can i splice all 3 blue (serial logging) wires together and get them all logged via one serial cable?
edit: nm seen another thread about it.. ill log boost by other means.

I had an S2000 and I just tapped into the existing rear 02 sensor line as close as possible to the ECU for my wideband that I had installed on it. Can't we do the same here without having to buy the female ECU pins?
Or if your feeling bold, just cut the ECU wire thats associated with the rear 02 ECU input and connect the wideband line?
Just wondering if I am missing something here.

I don't know how the hell I missed this old of a thread. I must have searched for two hours on how to log without the cable. This is some great information man. I guess I just wasn't searching the right things.

hi guys,
i have a jdm evo 8 that has the same pinout diagram as the evo 9. I wired my aem white cable into pin 73 and changed MUt3c to 8409. I call this in evo scan and have the formula for the wideband in as well. However I am constantly ready a 9.8 and it does not change.
Am i right with MUT3c or should I be using MUT12?

So what I am not understanding is what output would go to the gauge its self? The instructions say that the brown output 2 goes to the gauge and the yellow wire is analog out 1. So would i connect yellow analog out 1 to the gauge (DB series) and brown analog out 2 to the ecu? Also another question is can i program both outputs to have the same voltage reference?

I installed a FJO WB using this rear O2 procedure and it was working but when I updated the scaling formula it's now just reading 14.8ish. It will go +-0.1 every 30 sec or so. I tried the base LC1 formula again and nothing changes. Also disabled the rear O2 sim from V7 and it reads the same. Even when I re-flashed the sim enabled no change. I'm getting the correct voltage to pin 75 on my ECU (Evo 8) and can see the change on the muti-meter. I'm using the latest version of EvoScan that has the rear O2 WB definition already there, labled as LC1 WB mod. I tried to reload the xml def to the EvoScan data xml from this "how to" and it came up as all numbers. Anybody else go through this?

After some more troubleshooting I still can't get a handle on this. I just bought the latest version of EvoScan and still doesn't work. The xml def in EvoScan is correct and the formula is correct for the LC1 which I now reinstalled on the car. All EvoScan is doing is logging the initial reading and never updates the AFR/input. I'm getting 4.8 volts from the ECU pin 75 when I disconnected it from my analog AFR input. My WB analog output volt varies as it should for the 0-5v scale. Should there be 4.8 volts coming from the ECU where the WB input voltage is going? I have MUT 12 set to 8409 and rear o2 sim enabled thru V7 rom...kinda lost here.

Since there is no Data.xml file in evoscan 2.7, should i put this
(<DataListItem DataLog="Y" Color="" Display="Wideband AFR" LogReference="WideBand" RequestID="12" Eval="0.05859*x+7.35" Unit="AFR" MetricEval="" MetricUnit="" ResponseBytes="1" GaugeMin="0" GaugeMax="22" ChartMin="0" ChartMax="22" ScalingFactor="1" Notes="" Priority="1" Visible="false" />)
in the mitsubishimuttII.xml?
