So, it extended the tip further out of the air stream too? That will definitely have a huge effect on the readings. Example being the rear O2 sensor extenders we use to trick the readings going back to the ECU when people run without a catalytic converter. I'm uncertain on it at this point, might work. Having a bung welded 18" down the pipe will cost you about 30 bucks at any muffler shop. Seems the smarter way to go to me.

Note that they have a hole in the side and the tip, so the exhaust will flow in and out, not just sit stagnant in a recess.
I would not trust a muffler shop to pull the front under tray. I think that this might be required to reach a point 18" from the tubo, but I might be remembering wrong.
Also I have seen a few posts about damaged WB02, that were down on the bottom side.
Not a cheerleader for this bushing - lot more expensive than $30.00, but it might work without mechanical changes.
What we need is someone that has actually used it to chime in.

Pull your undertray off before you go to the muffler shop...derr,lol. It takes 5 minutes. You don't have the sensor point DOWN, you have it between 10 o'clock and 2 o'clock so moisture doesn't ruin it. If you tell the muffler shop thats where you want the bung you'll be fine.
You'll honestly get no advantage from having it so close IMO, 18" away is close enough to keep the extreme heat away while still having a fast response time. Just my 2 cents again,lol.

ROM Modifications
My rear O2 sensor simulator code needs to used. This is needed so that the rear O2 ADC input can be made available for the LC-1 analog input.
Option A - tephra ROM
1) Get a copy of tephra's v5+ ROM, and move all your altered tables over to the tephra ROM.
2) In ECUFlash, find the MUT12 address in the MUT table. If the MUT table is not listed, then it will have to be added to your ECUFlash definition file. A thread listing the MUT table definition for most ROMs is *here*. Change MUT12 to 8409. (You'll have to enter it as 0x8409.) Save the ROM and upload it to your ECU.

Thanks, because I'm sick and tired of dealing with the the serial way of logging. There are always issues with the damn thing.

You are correct Adam just add the 8409 to the mut table. Correct Row 1 (down) Column 2 (over).
Then you need to enable the Tephra Mod option for rear O2 sim to 1
Lastly mod the EVOSCAN or Mitsulogger XML file so that you have a reqest check box in the logger of your choice. I have my NGK logging this way for quite some time now.
Make sure the formula in the line you enter into the XML is correct for what ever wideband you are using

Yes sir V5.10 am I missing something and yup I added the following to the EVO scan Data.XML file

I'm trying to work in an Uego to be used with this but, I'm having a little difficulty figuring out the Eval formula. Per the documents that come with the Uego under the calibration portion it notes some Cal Table info that is to be inputed into a EMS. The table shows O2 volts/Lamba/Gasoline AFR/various other fuels.
It shows at 0 O2 volts the Gasoline AFR is 10.00 and than at 4.99 O2 volts the Gasoline AFR is 19.98.
It would appear than that the formula for the Uego should be :
(19.98-10.0)/255*x + 9.0 = 0.03914*x + 9.0
Does that look right??
